Timed Entry for the Pumpkin Trail

The Pumpkin Trail opens at dusk, just as the sun sets, revealing a glowing wonderland of illuminated pumpkins, whimsical displays, and surprises around every bend. Entry to the trail is timed. Guests can select their preferred trail time when purchasing tickets, with departure times available every half hour after sunset. The last trail entry time will begin one hour before the park closes. For example, if the park closes at 10:00 PM, the final trail slot will run from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

What to Expect on the Trail

As you step into the night, the 1/2 mile one-way trail comes alive with thousands of glowing pumpkins and creative displays including a haunted zoo, skeleton army, classic halloween characters, a tiki scene, and more that transform the night into an enchanted experience. This outdoor Halloween attraction is designed to be family-friendly, photo-ready, and packed with autumn atmosphere. (No jump scares or too spooky for young children.)

Enjoy the Park Before or After Your Walk

In addition to the trail, starting at 6:30PM, guests can enjoy the ambiance of the park. Face painting ($), build a scarecrow ($), photo ops, barnyard games, Harold’s Hall “Glow” Room, outdoor movies, roasting fire pits with marshmallow to purchase and an arcade offer fun for kids and adults alike. Please note: Most Pumpkinfest activities will be closed during the night walk including the Netted Play Area, Tube Slide, Hayride, Bounce Houses. If you are looking for the full pumpkin patch experience, we recommend purchasing our Pumpkinfest – Great Pumpkin ticket which includes Pumpkins Aglow and all general admission park activities.

Tips for Your Visit

To get the full experience, we recommend arriving early so you can enjoy all the activities before your trail time begins (gates open at 6:30PM). Dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes for walking, and bring a camera — you won’t want to miss capturing the glowing beauty of the trail and all the fall fun throughout the park.
