Christopher James: The acclaimed improv magician-comedian, will be joining the Branson Comedy Bash Dinner Show starting Spring 2026 in the Playhouse Theater at The Shepherd of the Hills. Known for his quick wit, audience-driven comedy, and inventive magic, Christopher delivers a show that is both unpredictable and unforgettable.
James, who is about to embark on a national tour of resorts and theatres across the country, will join the Branson Comedy Bash on select dates beginning in the Spring. Audiences can expect a night of improvisation, situational comedy, and jaw-dropping magic performed in a style you’ve never seen before.
Christopher James is a multi-award-winning performer, named Comedy Stage Act of the Year, Magic Act of the Year, and recipient of the Entertainment Award of Excellence from the Magicians Alliance of Eastern States. He headlines The Showboat Branson Belle and major cruise lines as well as regularly traveling around the country, performing hundreds of shows each year with his signature improvisational comedy-magic.
Jim Barber: Comedian ventriloquist, who is about to embark on a national tour of resorts and theatres across the country, will join the Branson Comedy Bash Dinner Show on select dates beginning in the Spring of 2026 in the Playhouse Theater at The Shepherd of the Hills.
Barber, a celebrated performer with decades of experience, has entertained audiences at nearly 2,000 college campuses, earning the title of NACA Comedy Entertainer of the Year, and has appeared in top Branson theatre productions including the Glen Campbell Goodtime Show, Eddie Rabbitt Show, The Osmond Family Theater, The Tony Orlando Show, and his own Hamner Barber Variety Show. His comedy has been featured on A&E, CBS, FOX, ABC, TNN, and RFD-TV, with a personal highlight being his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Fans of the Branson Comedy Bash can look forward to Barber’s signature blend of sharp humor and masterful ventriloquism, adding another unforgettable dimension to Branson’s premier dinner show experience.
