The farm is the authentic setting of the world-famous novel, Shepherd of the Hills. Now in modern day, your family can explore the setting of the where the Ozarks began. Plus, your little ones can have a blast in our Lil Pete’s Playland.

Lil’ Pete’s Playland is sure to cultivate your younger one’s imagination and get them good and tuckered out. This kid-centered zone is comprised of a timed American Ninja Warrior Course, rope-bridge linked treehouses, custom putt putt course, petting zoo, gem sifting and more!
Coming soon in 2021! Ride and Discover the history of Ozarks in the all-new family-fun adventure. Take a mile long, fifteen minute old-fashioned train ride through the scenic Shepherd of the Hills Farm. All Aboard!
Travel to the top of the Inspiration Tower to experience the beauty of the Ozark mountains from the sky. Built on the spot where Harold Bell Wright wrote The Shepherd of the Hills, the Inspiration Tower is the perfect place to savor a summertime sunset, or take in a beautiful afternoon sky and reflect on the history of these hills.
The story and history of The Shepherd of the Hills collides with present-day on our open-air, Jeep-drawn tram tour of the Farm and backstage of the outdoor theatre. Your Ozark native guide will lead you through the key locations and places of inspiration during Harold Bell Wright’s sabbatical in the Missouri hills. (Not include in general admission)
Visit our farm for a unique Easter and Spring experience during Spring weekends. Join our easter egg hunt, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, hold baby bunnies, release a butterfly, Cadbury egg shakes, and much more farm activities!
