Historic Farm & Backstage Tour

The story and history of The Shepherd of the Hills collides with present-day on our open-air, Jeep-drawn tram tour of the Farm and backstage of the outdoor theatre. Your Ozark native guide will lead you through the key locations and places of inspiration during Harold Bell Wright’s sabbatical in the Missouri hills.

Inspiration Tower

Travel to the top of the Inspiration Tower to experience the beauty of the Ozark mountains from the sky. Built on the spot where Harold Bell Wright wrote The Shepherd of the Hills, the Inspiration Tower is the perfect place to savor a summertime sunset, or take in a beautiful afternoon sky and reflect on the history of these hills.

Sammy Lane’s Sweets & Treats

With Sweets N’ Treats just as sweet as Sammy Lane herself, we have a little something for everyone. From delicious homemade ice cream to hand crafted fudge and specialty coffees, we can’t wait for you to visit! Sammy Lane sure enough knew all about the fine ladies in the hills and we use this space to honor those fine women, while serving up something sweet at the same time.

Morgan Chapel Church

Morgan Chapel seats 75 people and is perfect for intimate gatherings and celebrations. This quaint and simple church was saved from impending demolition and moved to Inspiration Point in 1991. Its structure and feel is very similar to the churches that Harold Bell Wright ministered in as he traveled across southern Missouri.
