Inspiration Tower is Branson’s landmark on the horizon, a 230-foot structure sitting on Inspiration Point, the highest point in Southwest Missouri. Two glass elevators take you up to a spacious enclosed observation deck where you get a full 360-degree view of the Ozark Mountains. On a clear day you can see over 90 miles. The tower was built in 1989 to mark the 100th anniversary of Harold Bell Wright’s first visit to the area, and visitors are welcome to stay as long as they like.

Adult tickets are $9.95 and kids 12 and under are $7.95. There is also a family pass for $29.95 that covers two adults and all kids under 12. The tower is included with park admission and Vigilante Extreme ZipRider tickets, so if you are planning a full day it is worth looking at the bundle options.

It is one of those rare stops that works for everyone in the group. The ride up is a glass elevator, so there is no climbing or hiking involved. Little ones love the views, and it is just as good a stop for grandparents as it is for kids. No reservations needed either, so you can fit it in anytime during your visit.

Inspiration Tower sits on Inspiration Point, the highest point in Southwest Missouri, at an elevation of 1,375 feet above sea level. The tower rises 230 feet above that, putting you at over 1,600 feet in the air and well above the rolling Ozark hills surrounding Branson. On a clear day, the views stretch over 90 miles, all the way to the Arkansas ridgeline.
