New in 2015!!  Father’s Day Weekend

June 19th and 20th

In cooperation with American Mobile Training Solutions and The Shepherd of the Hills, we are extremely excited to announce Uncle Ike’s Buckshot and Brass Gun Show and Expo.  “This will be a gun show like none other anywhere else” said Sharena Naugher, Marketing Director and family owner of Shepherd of the Hills.  Unlike traditional guns shows that are crowded into convention center arenas, Buckshot and Brass will be at the expansive Shepherd of the Hills Homestead with exhibitors and vendors set-up both inside and outside from the entrance throughout the Homestead, and all the way up to Inspiration Point.

In addition to the traditional gun and accessory vendors and exhibitors, this event is tailored for a fun family outing.  There will be seminars from American Mobile Training Solutions, an AirSoft range, a full immersion firearms simulator, firearms safety training, and kids activities spread throughout the park.  The Shepherd of the Hills story is set in the late 1800s where Ozark’s families had to depend on their own ability to hunt, fish, and defend their families.  “The idea of hosting a gun show just seemed like a natural fit for the theme as well as the demographic of the visitors to our park”  said Naugher.

American Mobile Training Solutions will be assisting in the coordination and security of the event.  AMTS is a locally owned and operated training company that is made up entirely of ex-Army servicemen dedicated to training and assisting the regional area businesses, schools, and churches to being prepared for any unexpected scenario.  Many of these gentlemen grew up and working at The Shepherd of the Hills and it is a great relationship to work together on such a unique event.

The festivities will kick off on Friday the 19th and will extend up until just before the Outdoor Drama show starts, and then start up again Saturday morning and will run all day up until the Outdoor Drama that evening.  Vendor space registration is now open and can be obtained by calling 417-332-1099 extension 4105 or by this link.

Event schedules and updates will be posted at BuckshotandBrass.com in the coming weeks
