We are extremely excited to announce a new addition to The Shepherd of the Hills this summer.  Lem & Houdini’s Shootin’ Barn will be a state of the art animatronics shooting gallery themed and designed by Daniels Wood Land.   The shooting gallery will feature Lem Wheeler from The Shepherd of the Hills story along with Houdini the donkey who was a long time cast member at The Shepherd of the Hills and was famous for his innate ability to escape any pen he was placed in.

“This is a project that we started the wheels rolling on over 6 years ago” said Shane Naugher, Manager.  We met with Ron Daniels, who is the one of the owners of Daniels Wood Land after we noticed his incredible talent for themed attractions.   Ron flew out with his team from California to see the show and to experience the atmosphere at The Shepherd of the Hills and then he came up with the idea for Lem and Houdini’s shortly thereafter.

Daniels Wood Land has been building themed shooting galleries and themed tree-houses for over 18 years and currently are featured on Animal Planet’s Redwood Kings.
